The Defender

The Defender is the smallest member of the Mosquito Magnet® family. The Defender’s Mosquito Trap’s  ½ acre coverage area makes it perfect for smaller lots. This unit uses propane and a 50 foot low voltage power cord to operate.
 

The Patriot

The Mosquito Magnet® Patriot is easy to use—just plug it in, push the button, relax and enjoy your yard!  A 50-foot 12-volt power cord, supplied with the Patriot, allows placement away from the family area yet near the mosquitoes’ breeding and resting areas.  Lawn clips are provided to help secure your powercord.  Through proper placement upwind, the biting insects will be drawn to the trap; thereby reducing the chances of you becoming their target.  The heavy-duty plastics and marine grade materials make it ideal for any harsh environments.

The enhanced Mosquito Magnet® Patriot has been designed for the homeowner who needs to protect up to a 1 acre area. For optimal results, run your trap 24 hours a day in order to break the breeding cycle of the mosquitoes in your yard.  Your trap will begin working immediately with noticeable results in 7-10 days – allow a 4 week time frame to see significant results.
 

The Liberty

The Liberty Mosquito trap is the medium sized member of the Mosquito Magnet® family. Its 1 acre coverage makes it perfect for larger areas of coverage. This unit uses propane and a 50 foot low voltage power cord to operate. In our opinion, this is one of the most reliable traps available today.
 

The Liberty Plus

The Liberty Plus Mosquito Magnet is the largest member of the Mosquito Magnet® Trap family. Its 1 acre coverage makes it perfect for larger areas. This unit uses propane only to operate. A rechargeable battery provides power to start the engine and an internal thermal electric module which converts heat to electricity keeps it running (as long as the engine is producing heat). The ability to operate without a power cord allows for easy yard placement but buyers should be aware that its more complex operating system may require additional maintenance procedures and expense.
 

Independence

The Mosquito Magnet® Independence™ features new cordless technology and has been designed for the homeowner who needs to protect larger yards up to a 1 acre area. Its one-button operation and easy assembly make using the Mosquito Magnet® Independence™ simple and convenient.

The Mosquito Magnet® Independence™ runs on just 4 “C” batteries that last all season long so no external electrical power is needed. This convenient feature allows placement of the unit away from the family area yet still near the mosquitoes’ breeding and resting areas. The Mosquito Magnet® Independence™ is backed by the exclusive Mosquito Magnet® 360º Customer Support Program.
 

Executive

“Smart Technology” is the key to the advanced Mosquito Magnet® Executive Mosquito Trap. The easy-to-read LCD panel on the front of the unit offers enhanced diagnostics and 4 fuel savings modes that can extend the life of your propane tank up to 30 days. 

The sophisticated Mosquito Magnet® Executive also “learns” to differentiate days from nights and features a temp indicator that will automatically start-up/power-down the trap when the temperature reading is above or below 50° degrees (The temperature in which the mosquito breeding process usually starts). The Mosquito Magnet® Executive will let you know when the battery is low, the propane is out or even when the propane nozzle is clogged!
 

The Freedom

The Freedom Mosquito Magnet Machine is no longer being produced and is not supported by the Woodstream Company, the new owners of Mosquito Magnet®. We do not offer service or repair on this unit. We can not even get parts anymore. If you own one, keep your fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong with it. If you have a chance to purchase one, even at a very cheap price, our advice is to turn around and walk away. We do still have a few accessories available in case you own one that is still working.
